Aston Scott seem to on something of a roll in recent months - having bought Cobra's Caterham operations last month.
The truth on Francis Townsend and Hayward (Insurance Brokers) Limited? We'll have to wait and see where the losses occurred - in a business set up in 1959, merged in 1990 and seemingly with a great reputation. The website is still up and running though.
A quick look through the appointments of the Careless family indicates that while most businesses have been dissolved or are in administration Francis Townsend & Hayward (Premium Funding) Ltd is the only one still trading.
